The EU Blue Card is for qualified work in Germany. You need a degree that is recognised or comparable in Germany, a job offer or contract that meets the Blue Card salary threshold, and a national visa applied for through the Consular Services Portal. After arrival, you apply to the foreigners’ authority for the Blue Card itself. The main fee is €75 (about PKR 23,300).

Can I get a Germany Blue Card without a degree?

Usually you need a degree that is recognised or comparable in Germany. IT specialists without a degree are the exception: they show their professional experience with experience letters instead.

Does Germany accept an apostille on Pakistani documents?

No. Germany objected to Pakistan joining the Apostille Convention, so Pakistani apostilles are not accepted, and the German missions in Pakistan do not legalise Pakistani documents. Degrees need HEC attestation plus proof of recognition; matric and intermediate certificates should be board-verified and IBCC-attested.
