Spain student visa from Pakistan
A Spain student visa is for courses longer than 90 days at an authorised centre. You need admission to a full-time course and proof that the enrolment fee is paid, funds of at least the IPREM amount for each month, health insurance from an insurer authorised in Spain, and a medical certificate. Apply at least two months before your course starts.

Usually needed
Passport
Valid for at least one year, with at least two blank pages, issued within the last 10 years.

National visa application form, completed and signed; a parent signs for a minor.
Passport-size photograph (destination specification)
One recent colour passport-size photo, light background.
University admission letter (Zulassungsbescheid) or offer
Admission to an authorised centre in Spain for a full-time programme (or the volunteering agreement).
Proof of tuition or enrolment fee payment
Proof that the enrolment fee (matricula) is paid.
Bank statement / proof of funds
Funds of at least the IPREM amount for each month of stay (EUR 600 a month in 2025; verify), plus 75% of IPREM for the first family member who comes with you and 50% for each further one. Less is needed if accommodation is paid in advance for the whole stay.
Health insurance certificate
Public or private health insurance with an insurer authorised to operate in Spain, with cover similar to the Spanish national health system, for the whole stay.
Medical certificate (public health)
Medical certificate stating that you have no disease with serious public health consequences under the International Health Regulations 2005.

Police character certificate
For stays over 180 days, adults need a police certificate from every country they lived in during the last 5 years, apostilled and translated.
Parents' authorisation for a minor
Authorisation from both parents (or the sole guardian) naming the school and the period of stay, with a copy of the parent's identity document and proof of the relationship.
Polio vaccination certificate (NIMS/NADRA)
Pakistan exit requirement, not a visa document: when you leave Pakistan you must show a NIMS/NADRA vaccination certificate including polio (the old paper card is no longer accepted, and since 14 September 2026 airports check a NADRA-integrated vaccination record). Verify current rules.
